Privacy policy

BizPro is an invoicing and stock app for small businesses in Mauritius, available at bizpro.one. This page explains what information BizPro holds, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we hold

• Your account: your name, email address and, if you have one, your profile picture. We get these when you sign up with your email or with Google.
• Your business records: what you and your team enter into BizPro — your business details, customers, products, stock, quotes, invoices, credit notes and payments. This can include personal details of your own customers, such as names, phone numbers and addresses.
• Technical records: basic logs of requests and errors, kept to run the service and fix problems.

What we use it for

• To sign you in and keep your account secure.
• To run the app for you: store your records, produce your documents and reports, and show the right information to each team member.
• To support you when you ask for help, and to fix faults.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising. Your business records belong to your business.

Signing in with Google

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with BizPro. We use them only to create and identify your account. We do not get access to your Gmail, contacts, calendar, files or any other Google data, and we do not share what Google gives us with anyone else.

Who helps us run BizPro

BizPro relies on a small number of service providers, who process information on our behalf and only to provide their service:

• Clerk — sign-in and account security.
• Convex — the database where your records are stored.
• Vercel — hosting of the website and document downloads.
• Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.

These providers may store information on servers outside Mauritius.

Who can see your records

Your records are visible to you and to the team members you invite, each according to the access you give them. BizPro support staff may open a business's account when needed to help with a request or fix a problem; such access is logged.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and records for as long as your account is open. If you ask us to close it, we delete your account and your business records, except where we are required by law to keep something. Backups are overwritten in the normal course of operation.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Most records you can also correct yourself in the app. To make a request, email support@bizpro.one.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update this page and tell account owners by email. See also our terms of service.
